Our Story

From One Van to a
Province-Wide Team

Elqavor was founded in 2009 by Marcus Elwood and David Quavor — two licensed tradesmen who believed Canadians deserved better than rushed, overpriced service calls. Starting with a single van in Mississauga, Ontario, they built the company on three principles: integrity, craftsmanship, and genuine care for the customer.

Today, Elqavor employs 38 licensed technicians across Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Victoria. We've completed over 4,200 residential and commercial projects, earned a 4.9-star average on HomeStars, and maintained zero ESA violations across our entire operating history.

We are proud members of the Ontario Electrical League (OEL), CAGBC, and hold full TSSA authorizations for gas plumbing work. Our commitment to continuing education means every technician stays current with the latest Canadian Electrical Code updates.
